Why killing is wrong
This is where I stand on the whole debate we had in class earlier. I think that it is wrong under any circumstances at all what ever the reason to kill. I can back this up with a solid straight forward verse: Exodus 20: 13 (King James Version) "Thou shalt not kill". I belive as the verse states that we should not kill, even if it is to save the life of someone else, because there will doubtlessly be other options that don't include killing. If anyone has any other Bible verses that can state the oposite of this I would appreciate if they would respond with them.

I greatly agree with you. The only times when it may seem right to kill is when we've got ourselves into a mess. For example, in WWII, though it may have seemed OK to kill the enemy, it wouldn't have been nessasary if it wasn't for our own sinful nature.
i pretty much agree with you alex.
and terry.. that's a REALLY good point. it's true.
I agree with you Alex (shockingly haha) it is wrong to kill. but my main point is sometimes the outcome of killing is good. even though there are many other ways we could probably solve our disagreements.. Like I said in class it is sad that we have to resort to killing.
yah Alex i mostly agree with you that killing is wrong. and i agree with what taylor said when she said that its sad that we would have to result to killing. But i also agree with taylor when she said that the outcome of killing is sometimes good. Good job!
I also agree with Taylor that though the Bible is clearly against killing, it is sometimes essential in a sinful world. The result of killing can be good. Another example I just thought of is in Armageddon, when Jesus is killing thousands of people. Though I believe killing is bad, the RESULT of the killing isn't: I'm looking forward to the day I can rejoice and kill my persecutors with Jesus.
